BANGIN' DOORS, SHAKIN' THINGS UP

JUST ONE YESTERDAY? LEAVE IT BEHIND. BACK TO THE FUTURE? DON'T FORESEE.

Life is a segment. It has two endpoints. A letter B, and a letter C. A Beginning. And A Conclusion. In midst of the two endpoints, lies a line between them. That is, the moment. The present. The gift.

I can't believe that I had described "life" by using Geometric terms. I've always hated Math, just like the past or the future. It is both a blessing and a curse for someone to be stuck in the past or for someone to worry about the future. Why can't people be contented of what we call the present? The life we experience as of the moment.

The more we bother ourselves, the unhappier we become. Turning back, and looking forward is pessimism.

You need no time check, rather, a REALITY CHECK.

Here are the reasons why you shouldn't be bothered:

THE PAST.

.... WHAT'S DONE IS DONE.
YOU CAN NO LONGER BRING IT BACK.
Even Doctor Who's time-travelling machine won't be real enough to transform your oh-no-should-not-have happened moments into a good one.
IF YOU CONTINUE TO PURSUE REVISITING THE PAST, THEN ALL LIFE WILL BRING ARE REGRETS.

THE FUTURE.
If you keep on worrying about the future, you won't be able to live your present.
It is hard to concentrate if you're too preoccupied by the things that you shouldn't think of at the moment.Your future self will be happier if you don't rush things. Cease the day. Carpe diem my friend!

I'll leave with a Bible verse that says, "Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me." - John 14: 1.
