Compendium of Poems

Nutshell

His absence is better than his presence,
He'a an incognito.

He lives in a nutshell of dilemmas,
He's an incognito.

His dreams are directed to a black hole,
He's an incognito.

He whispers tragic tales of lost souls,
He's an incognito.

He's an incognito
- Searching for his incognita.

Austere

Sitting at a table,
Several meters,
away from people.
At the corner of her eyes,
she hopes, and prays,
that in a moment,
someone will notice,
how heavy she felt.

She glances, she glances,
at random directions,
until tears start to cloud
her eyes; and in her mind,
her conscience spoke,
stop, don't move.
someone's coming! he's coming!
slowly she twirled,
some strands of her hair,
and removed the residue,
of salty tears from her cheeks.

Her eyes widened,
her frown disappeared,
when he heard him say,
"Let's eat. Together."

Endpoint

When the Earth rumbled beneath my feet,
All, I was able to do, was scream.

Adrenaline rush flew in my veins,
As I ran to the nearest fire escape.

The buildings swayed like a pendulum,
From then on, I knew, I was doomed.

The roads were blocked by many cars,
bumping into each other like world war.

For no one dared to pay any attention,
to what life was before the revelation.

All are captives of such ill-fate,
but the one thing that can save them - is faith.

Outside

The voices whispered through the dark,
like waves crushing Noah's ark.

The volume grew louder and louder,
as my ears bleed further and further.

But the audibility started to fade,
as I felt your palm burning on my face,

Running your thumb to what seemed like forever,
Don't let go and put our lips together.

Disconnect

The hurdles doubled,
But my feelings did not change.
Like cars on a heavy traffic,
We struggle to maintain our pace.

The dead remained dead,
And the living turned to something else.
Like speeches becoming whispers,
We've lost track of ourselves.

How crazy they are to even ask,
"Why aren't you together?"
How crazy am I to respond,
It's not you who's my forever.
